Position: Volunteers

Safe haven of Mt. Carmel is looking for volunteers to help fill coverage hours at the shelter with multiple time slots available. Knowing you can make a difference in someone’s life is awesome but getting to experience it firsthand is a wonderful feeling.

We are very accommodating to arrange our daily plan around hours that people would like to come in and help. Shifts can be 2, 4, or 6 hours.  We even have some overnight shifts available.  It does not have to be every day.  It can be once a week, a month or whatever works best for you.  Volunteers will answer the phone and door.  They assist residents and monitor security cameras.  Training will be provided.  Must pass a brief screening.
