Position: Aftermarket Sales Representative
Pacific Press Technologies is a manufacturer of large industrial hydraulic pressing equipment located in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. Pacific is looking to augment its Aftermarket department with an ambitious salesperson. You will work alongside fellow colleagues in Sales, Service, Engineering, and Manufacturing departments to satisfy our customers’ needs. You will support the team by:
- Developing an understanding of Pacific’s product line and all services offered.
- Using CRM (Salesforce) process to monitor all outstanding quotes.
- Working with Parts manager to develop a follow up structure to ensure all opportunities are being captured
- Calling customers to follow up on every open, aftermarket opportunity
- Reporting empirical findings to service, parts, and sales
- Contouring pricing mechanisms to increase sales activity
At a minimum the qualified candidate must have:
- Desire to deliver what’s best for our customers
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Salesforce
- Critical thinking capacity with ability to make decisions
- Ability to take direction
- Driven and self-motivated
- Ability to deliver accurate and timely work under pressure
- Ability to work daily overtime as needed
- Strong past work performance and attendance record
Preferred qualification
- Background in inside sales
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
Starting pay will be $21.50/hour with commission. Pacific offers benefits including group insurance, vision, dental and 401K.
