Mount Carmel Massage Therapy opened in July 2009, owned and operated by Stephanie Rye. Stephanie has been a State of Illinois Licensed Massage Therapist since August 2006. She is also Board Certified by NCTMB, which represents the highest credential attainable within the massage therapy profession. Originally from Olney, she moved to Mount Carmel in 2009 after marrying. She and her family now live in the wilds of Wabash County.
Mount Carmel Massage Therapy was originally operated out of a room in Stephanie’s home but grew so much that it moved to uptown Mount Carmel in October 2015. The location has recently changed again to a property owned by Stephanie and her husband.
Mount Carmel Massage Therapy offers affordable sessions of Deep Tissue, Swedish and Medical Massage. They also offer Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Cupping, Foot Reflexology and Aromatherapy. One specialty service offered is the Raindrop Technique using nine or more essential oils anointed to the feet and back. You’ll feel fantastic! Stephanie has had the pleasure of helping many people in the Wabash County area with complaints varying from Chronic Pain to Sports Injuries (new and old), times of stress to post-surgical. Sessions are custom made for whatever you may need.
Mount Carmel Massage Therapy is open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with some Saturday appointments available. Sessions are by appointment only, but it’s encouraged that you call or text for appointment availability. Open times are often posted on Mount Carmel Massage Therapy’s Facebook page as well.
