Maple Hill Restorations is a family owned and operated business, run by the Beckerman family of Mt. Carmel. Maple Hill Restorations first began as many businesses do, as a hobby. Beth started out refinishing personal family pieces and eventually grew into doing it for her friends, family, and the community. In 2001 they made it official and Maple Hill Restorations was born. Maple Hill Restorations has always been a family operation, they stayed true to that when Beth’s son Trey joined in on the fun in 2014. Between 2001 and 2014 they worked in a small building on the family’s property. After Trey came aboard, they decided it was time to expand their workspace. In 2014 they build the 3,000 square foot building that they work out of today. The shop is located on their family farm near Mt. Carmel, IL.
Maple Hill Restorations offers an extensive list of restoration services. They offer furniture refinishing, striping, staining, antiquing, chalk paint, chair caning, repair of damaged furniture and custom pieces. They have recently started building cutting and charcutier boards, the perfect piece for a host. They utilize a professional spray booth for their work. Repurposing salvaged wood to make a custom piece is something that they truly enjoy. Beth and Trey are available Monday-Friday from 8 am – 4 pm, but they recommend calling, texting or sending them a Facebook message, ahead.
Beth, Trey and all the Maple Hill Restorations team have a love for antiques and enjoy giving them another life for the next generation. They will treat your piece of history just like they would theirs – with lots of care!
