Buy-Low has been part of our community for 25 years. They started in a small location on Walnut Street but quickly outgrew it and moved to a larger location. A grand opening was held on March 3, 1998 for their 9th street location; where they are still located. With a pharmacy, flower shop, and hardware store inside and gas station outside it is your one stop shop for all your necessities. Buy Low also has a full-service meat, produce and deli-bakery departments making them a great place to stop for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything in between. The floral department also has a large selection of gifts.
Buy-Low is owned by Houchens Industry, and affiliated with IGA.
Ace Hardware was added to the far side of Buy Low in 2019. They are a full-service hardware store that has so many things that can help all you do-it-yourselfers with projects big or small. They also have a custom key cutting center. They feature popular gift brands such as: Vera Bradley, Hallmark and Simple Southern.
Sheldon’s Pharmacy joined Buy Low in 2019 as well. They offer 10-15 minute walk-in service, a drive-thru option, and service with a smile.
Locals seem to appreciate their wide selection of groceries and cleanliness of the store. Between their weekly ad, digital coupons on their webpage (listed above), and friendly staff. Buy Low is focused on savings, value, and pleasant shopping experiences!
