Wabash Valley College: Truck Driving Instructor




DESCRIPTION: The position is a full-time, tenure-track appointment. Primary instructional responsibilities include teaching courses in semi-tractor trailer operation. The college offers both day and evening classes to adult, traditional, and college credit enrolled high school students at Frontier Community College, Lincoln Trail College, Olney Central College and Wabash Valley College. Instructor will participate in assessment activities and online teaching. Current college assignment is Wabash Valley College, Mt. Carmel, IL.

QUALIFICATIONS:Class A CDL license and relevant work experience required, Associate’s degree preferred. Experience or a degree in Diesel Equipment Technology preferred. Successful college teaching experience including computer-assisted, multi-media instruction, and innovative teaching techniques preferred.
